About Us
A Personal Story That Became a Community Cause
Cruzin’ For Cancer has become a Bullitt County tradition people return to for a reason. It is not just about the cars or the crowd, it is about showing up for something that carries real meaning and real impact.
What started in May 2015 came from something deeply personal. After losing a father to multiple cancers, with bone cancer taking his life, the focus shifted toward bringing awareness, support, and resources into the community so others would not face it alone.
Every dollar raised goes directly to the Brown Cancer Center at the University of Louisville, helping support research, patient care, and programs that reach people when they need it most.
This is not a portion or a percentage. Every contribution goes back into the cause, helping expand awareness, support screenings, and strengthen what the community can offer moving forward.
Be part of the event that turns presence into real impact.
Why We Do This
Cruzin’ For Cancer exists for one reason: to give the community a way to stand behind the fight against cancer and actually make a difference.
This event brings people together, but the purpose goes beyond the day itself. It’s about turning support into something real, funding research, helping patients, and backing programs that matter at the Brown Cancer Center.
Our Mission
To bring the community together through a powerful annual event that raises funds, builds awareness, and directly supports cancer research, patient care, and outreach programs.
Every dollar raised goes straight to the Brown Cancer Center at the University of Louisville, where it helps create real impact for real people.
Our Vision
To grow this event into a lasting force that continues to unite people, expand its reach, and strengthen support for cancer research and patient care year after year.
A future where more lives are supported, more progress is made, and the community keeps showing up for something that truly matters.
Why People Show Up For This Every Year
Cruzin’ For Cancer isn’t just another event. It’s a community-driven effort where 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Brown Cancer Center at the University of Louisville, supporting research, patient care, and outreach programs. People come for the experience, but they return because it stands for something real, a day where showing up actually makes a difference.
